Most warblers exhibit sexual dichromatism, with males brilliantly colored or boldly patterned and females much more subdued. This contrast is key to their survival: vivid males more easily attract mates, while the drabber plumage of nesting females helps them stay concealed from predators. All of these photos are of males.
