Thrushes, Waxwings and Catbird

The Varied Thrush is one of my favorite birds in this collection. Inhabitants of Pacific Coast rainforests, their ethereal, flute-like songs herald the arrival of spring. A rare Vancouver snowfall gave me the perfect chance to capture these beauties against stunning snowy backdrops.
