Snipes and Sandpipers

Spotted Sandpipers are always a delight to watch as they creep along the shore, swiftly snatching up unsuspecting sand fleas. Common on both coasts, they’re easy to recognize by their distinctive habit of bobbing up and down while feeding along the water’s edge.
