Owls

Owls are my favorite birds. There’s something deeply rewarding about spotting one after a long search. In this gallery, you’ll find photos of our most common owl—the Barred Owl. While I call them “common,” these mysterious birds are still a rare sight. In 2020, I was lucky enough to discover a pair nesting near my home and watched them raise two young over the course of a month. I’ve included a video of those encounters in this gallery. Enjoy!
