Songbirds of Alberta

All of the warbler photos in this gallery were taken during a single June trip to Lac La Biche, Alberta. It was an incredibly rewarding experience—I was lucky enough to observe one of my all-time bucket list birds, the Blackburnian Warbler, up close. You’ll find several shots here of a stunning male showing off his brilliant breeding plumage.
